‘Next Major Event On Prophetic Calendar’: Pastor Greg Laurie Shares Eerie Warning

Pastor Greg Laurie shared a video in mid-June with his view on the next major event on the prophetic calendar, and it doesn’t sound like much fun.
The end times are “closely stacked” and designed to fall like dominoes, Laurie wrote in the caption of a tweet shared on June 17 (we’re publishing this work a week later as we’re waiting for comment and feedback from others). “In my view, the next major event on the prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the Church—that moment when Christ returns for His Church and we are caught up to meet Him in the air,” Laurie continued.
“As Paul writes, it will happen ‘in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye’ (1 Corinthians 15:52 NKJV),” he continued. “Some argue, ‘You can’t find the word ‘rapture’ in the Bible!’ That’s true—if you’re only reading the English. But the Greek word ‘harpazō’ (see 1 Thessalonians 4:17) means “to snatch away.'”
‘The Rapture Is Biblical’
“The Latin translation? ‘Rapturo.’ That’s where we get ‘rapture,'” Laurie explained. “So yes—the Rapture is biblical. And it could happen at any moment. The question is: Are you ready?”
End-times events are like dominoes—closely stacked.

Scientific Corroboration?
A report published last week on The Modern Memo detailed a new documentary called “The Disaster Cycle,” which describes a horrific cosmic event that would render much of the surface of the Earth totally unlivable. As many billionaires are building Doomsday bunkers, including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, there are concerns that such an event may be on the way — could this once again be Big Science mistaking a natural cataclysm for Biblical prophecy?
This wouldn’t be the first time that Big Science has started to catch up with Biblical history and prophecy. There is a small population of researchers who believe the Younger Dryas — a period of significant cooling following a massive, global flood that is believed to have swept across most of the Northern Hemisphere, possibly the entire world, carving out our Great Lakes, major canyons, and wiping ancient civilizations off the face of the Earth — is actually the flood of Noah. We have absolutely no opinion on any of the above, but many younger generations are finding a relationship with Christ indirectly through the failures of Big Science and Big Archaeology in explaining so much of our ancient past.
Where Science Fails, The Bible Prevails
“Catastrophism was initially dismissed by scientists because it lined up too perfectly with the Bible and other religions origin stories. They favored gradualism because it put science above the church, but they couldn’t have been more wrong,” wrote USC history grad and ancient history researcher Caleb Katz, in response to a post by Million Voices head of content Kay Hill.
Ultimately, there are so many mysteries within our Bible that seem to keep aligning with the discoveries of the scientific community — many of which come from amateur, non-academic researchers — that we simply cannot ignore them anymore.
Pre-Adamic Flood?
If you listen to the show “Biblical Mysteries” you may have heard their three-part series on the Younger Dryas. The hosts believe the Younger Dryas flood was actually pre-adamic (before mankind) and that Noah’s flood came more than 1,650 years after God placed Adam in the garden. Therefore, these two events are too far apart to be the same thing. (LEARN MORE: Pastor Greg Laurie Speaks Of Biblical Prophecy Fulfillment Over Israel-Hamas War)
No matter how you feel, it is always important to keep your mind open when it comes to the spiritual warfare we’re experiencing right now. One of our younger team members suggested listening to Episodes 182 – 184 of the Bible Mysteries podcast.

Do You Know How Your Pastor Feels About Politics?
Your Sunday service doesn’t have to be political, but your day-to-day life outside of His four walls will always be dictated — in large part — by your elected officials. Ignorance of politics is like handing over control of your life to the greediest, most power-hungry serpent in the room. When we Use Our Voice, we bring a more Biblical worldview to our nation.
We’re in the middle of a Great American Revival, and we know there are so many incredible stories of faith being shielded by the corporate mainstream news media. Please tell us your great stories of faith today as we want to start sharing them — anonymously or as directed — with our readers as early as July 4, 2025! Email [email protected] to get involved today.
Contact Your Reps To Protect America’s Future
It seems like every time we at Million Voices speak to lawmakers and their teams, they all tell us the same thing: if just 10 people in their district write them letters about issues that matter to them, they know they have a serious crisis on their hands. A thousand people could message that same lawmaker via email or social media, and it would mean nothing. But hand-written, or even printed and signed letters, will make your politicians take action (if they really care about your vote, that is).
Contacting your representatives should be easy, but there are myriad ways they can ignore your messages. That’s where we come in.
Yes, Million Voices helps you with voter guides. Yes, we send letters from YOU directly to your elected officials because it’s the only way to guarantee they’ll listen to you. Yes, we publish data, articles, text messages, and help bridge the gap between education and civic action. But what do you want? Tell us today.
We want to make YOU the hero of our American story by giving you the tools you need to make a difference, from your local, state, all the way up to the federal level.
Join us in our mission to advocate for religious freedom, support fair and secure elections, and uphold the values that this great nation was built upon. Tell us what you want from the next four years, and we will fight to make it a reality … again!
