“Harry Potter” author JK Rowling donated to a legal challenge that seeks to uphold the biological definition of sex, according to the Christian Post.

A group called For Women Scotland announced on Friday that they are fundraising to protect the biological definition of sex under the British Supreme Court. Within less than a week, they raised the equivalent of $153,916.33, more than double the ask of 75,000 euros.

“You know how proud I am to know you,” Rowling allegedly wrote in a message to the group after donating the equivalent of $88,000, according to the Daily Mail. “Thank you for all your hard work and perseverance. This is truly a historic case.”

Rowling is a highly outspoken critic of the push to include biological men under the definition of “woman” in the U.K., as well as other factors within the transgender movement that actively harm women and girls.

“You have to wonder, was there more going on than just her baseline mental health distress?” Bauwens noted, pondering if “there’s already mental health distress, and now you’re going to throw the wild card of hormones into the mix … it’s a recipe for disaster.”
