Oscar Winner Uses Acceptance Speech To Hilariously Tell His Wife He’s Owed Another Child

Actor Kieran Culkin went viral on social media Sunday for his passionately hilarious pro-life acceptance speech for winning best supporting actor at the 2025 Oscars.
Culkin won the award for his role in Jesse Eisenberg’s “A Real Pain,” after receiving his first ever nomination for the far-from breakout role, according to The AP. The younger brother of Macaulay Culkin won an Emmy in 2024 for his work in television, and used the opportunity to grow what appears to be his real purpose in life: his family.
Instead of dribbling on about social issues they don’t understand, like so many of Hollywood’s successful actors, Culkin turned all his attention to his wife. (RELATED: Nicole Shanahan Shares Her Painful, Yet Beautiful Baptism Story)
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this, and I very stupidly, publicly, said that I want a third kid from her because she said if I won the award, I would, she would give me the kid,” Culkin explained, noting his big win at the Emmys the year before. “She goes, ‘Oh, God, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.’ And I turned to her and I said, ‘Really? I want four.’”
He’s Holding Her To Account
““She said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar,’” Culkin continued with a huge smile on his face. “Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith. No pressure. I love you.”
Culkin’s wife, Jazz Charton, laughed along with her husband like they were the only two in the room. The whole scene was somewhat magical to watch, an honest, fresh take from an industry we’ve seen fall so far into needless hatred in recent years.
Charton and Culkin have two children together (at the time of writing). We’ll have to wait and see if he really does hold her to account for the others! (RELATED: More Than 2,000 Students Commit To Jesus In U-Hauls At Campus Revival, Says Group)
Pro-Child America
Along with sweeping legislation aimed at protecting children through their education, parental rights, and more, there seems to be a huge pro-family revival happening across America today.
Countless celebrities, influencers, and talking heads reshared the footage of Culkin’s speech, urging Americans to go forth and procreate. “If we return to a Hollywood where men use their acceptance speeches to joke w/ their wives about having more babies instead of women using theirs to praise abortion for their success Hollywood could be great again,” wrote author Megan Basham on X.
“The Oscars are mostly garbage, but this moment between Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz is great. This is the most pro-family acceptance speech you’ll hear from Hollywood,” said Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. “Get married. Have kids. Lots of them.”
“Kieran Culkin excited about having more kids with his wife he desperately loves, is a wholesome moment we rarely see from Hollywood,” said apparent lawyer, who goes by the name Sunny on X. (BIG NEWS: One State Could Decide America’s Entire Future In 2025 Should Voters Refuse To Act)
