State Upholds 15-Week Abortion Limit

The Florida Supreme Court upheld the states’ 15-week limit on abortion procedures Monday, paving the way for an all-out ban on abortions if voters decide to do so in November.

In two different rulings, the Florida court opted to ban all abortions after the 15-week mark, which is well after most unborn children are forced through the deadly procedure. Newsmax argued that the ruling could lead to a six-week ban, which would limit the number of abortions that take place in Florida significantly, apparently.

Trump Leans Toward 15-Week Ban

Former President Donald Trump said in March that he was leaning towards supporting a 15-week abortion ban except for in cases of rape, incest, and saving the life of the mother. (LEARN MORE: The AP Finds 63% Doubt Biden’s Mental Capacity)

Newsmax said that Trump’s stance would likely “displease” both sides of the abortion debate, as pro-life groups will find the time span between conception and abortion too far. Pro-abortion groups have rallied and campaigned for the end of any type of abortion prohibition.
