Terrorists Become ‘Militarized’ On US Soil, Says Glenn Beck, As Threat Of Homeland Attacks Grow Larger

Glenn Beck detailed the “militarized” attacks on ICE agents and first responders in the U.S. in mid-July, right as experts warn of planned attacks on the homeland by Taliban leaders.

Ten people were placed in custody on July 4 after an organized attack at the Prairieland ICE Detention Facility in Johnson County, Texas, according to NBC DFW. The attack was described by acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District Nancy Larson as an “organized ambush,” that guests on the Glenn Beck program (7/9/25) described as being militaristic in their nature, similar to that seen in the attacks against first responders in Idaho on June 29.

Armed individuals dressed in military-like clothing first detonated fireworks outside the facility before the emergency lights lit up the grounds. “There’s fireworks going off over there behind the facility, which is really strange because there’s nowhere to be behind that facility,” a neighbor of the facility told NBC. The fireworks lured detention officers outside of the facility, where they found “two vandals allegedly spray painting anti-ICE messages on cars and a building on the grounds,” around 11pm. A 911 was also placed around the same time, requesting help from the facility. An Alvarado police officer responding to the call was fired at by a person allegedly hiding in the wood nearby the facility. The officer was shot in the neck. He was transported to a local area hospital, and was released shortly thereafter.

“It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill ICE corrections officers,” Larson stated. “Make no mistake, this was not a peaceful protest. It was indeed an ambush.”

Who Was Responsible For The Attack?

Alleged conspirators in the attack were captured in and around the scene, one of whom was Meagan Elizabeth Morris, who was said to have been ” driving a van reportedly with firearms in plain view, as well as ballistic-style vests and a helmet inside.”

Morris allegedly said that she met people “online” and transported them to the facility to “make some noise.” Her home was raided as lawmakers believe it was used as the “staging location for the group.” (RELATED: Did Intelligence Agencies Ignore Terror Threats Against The Homeland Under Biden?)

Ten individuals have since been charged as part of a single complaint, each with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents and three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. Thankfully no Prairieland personnel were injured during the encounter.

Experts Scream ‘Government Failure’ As More Attacks Are Planned

Counterterrorism expert Sarah Adams shared an extensive post about who is likely behind the mass-organization of terrorist groups — a crisis largely ignored by the mainstream news media — and why this is essential for everyone in the U.S. to understand:

“Let me explain something to you all about Hamza bin Laden and why your government is deliberately ignoring him. Since at least 2022, multiple people—across multiple organizations—have tried to pass on intelligence about Hamza,” Adams wrote on social media shortly after the attacks. “It didn’t matter who it was sent to. Whether it was official channels or just the media, the answer came back the same: the CIA is blocking any reporting, any dissemination, and even preventing the press from printing stories about him,” she continued. “The blame falls squarely on them—on their failure to collect against not just the head of al-Qaeda, but one of the most dangerous enemies our country faces.”

“We had hoped that a new administration would correct course. Instead, they’ve doubled down—refusing to even acknowledge al-Qaeda’s growing presence in Afghanistan. And worse, they’ve started spreading lies inside the NSC about me—including that I’m on drugs—in a desperate attempt to discredit my reporting on Hamza.”

“This isn’t just bureaucratic incompetence—it’s a whole-of-government failure. They bent the knee to bad CIA analysis and silenced anyone who dared offer a dissenting view. They didn’t want options—they wanted obedience,” she added, not naming names.

Adams believes that as “recently as May” the FBI has been trying to pull Adams’ security clearance. She believes this is because the administration — unnamed governmental leaders — want ” their diplomatic deals with the Taliban regime—and now the new Syrian government—to hold.”

“Even as the next attack on our homeland is being planned from both countries,” she concluded. “They are gambling with American lives to protect political narratives and to create fake peace deals with terrorists. And history will remember who stayed silent.”
