US Reacts To Biden’s Easter ‘Trans Day Of Visibility’

Many were shocked when President Joe Biden declared 2024’s Easter Sunday a “Transgender Day of Visibility.” The reactions shared online show how upset people are that our current President would push the event on such an important day for Christians.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said Saturday that the Biden administration “has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” according to the Christian Post. Johnson pondered whether Biden even knew what was happening, noting the President signed a document proclaiming March 31 “Transgender Day of Visibility.” The day was technically scheduled several years ago, but fell on Easter Sunday in 2024.

Coincidence Is Irrelevant

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary associate professor of Christian ethics and public theology Andrew T. Walker said that Biden’s alleged ignorance of “Transgender Day of Visibility” falling on Easter Sunday is irrelevant. “What matters is that our ‘Catholic’ President and his staff knew it would be controversial for it to fall on Easter and decided that appeasing the far-Left and offending Christians was an acceptable trade-off,” Walker said on X. “There is no law mandating that they recognize a clown world holiday. They chose to do so and are deserving of criticism.”

“Transgender Day of Visibility” is just the Biden administration’s celebration of resurrection through desecration. Mutilate the body and it will arise anew, their false prophets say.

“Some have suggested that this was yet another attack on Christianity by the Biden administration,” he continued. “While I don’t see how declaring the TDOV on the same day as Easter, regardless of historical precedent, could encourage unity, I’m less concerned with the date of TDOV than with what I believe to be a potential distraction for the Christian community during the Easter season.”
