Voters Are Unimpressed By Biden’s Economic ‘Achievements’

A Politico-Morning Consult poll taken in April found that most Americans are unaware and unimpressed by President Joe Biden’s economy during his time in office, despite the mainstream media trying to boast his “achievements.”

The poll found that most people haven’t read or heard anything positive about Biden’s economic policies, such as the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or the CHIPs and Science Act, according to Politico, which described these pieces of legislation as “achievements.” Roughly half of voters said they’d heard about the Inflation Reduction Act, which doesn’t seem to feel like it has reduced the speed of inflation, nor corrected the sudden leap in the cost of living.

Inflation & The Economy

Inflation and the economy are top concerns for voters heading into the 2024 elections. A poll conducted in March 2024 found that 55% of registered voters believe Biden’s economic policies will make consumer prices continue to increase as millions of families struggle under his inaction today.

Some 44% of respondents to the same poll said Trump’s policies will likely make consumer prices fall, while 22% think he’ll make no difference. A total of 34% think he’ll make things worse. (LEARN MORE: ‘Voting For Biden Is … Suicide’)
