A commentary published by the Washington Stand, on Saturday, detailed why men need to be a part of the push for pro-life causes as we enter this new election season.

Writer Isaac Pilon said the “no uterus, no opinion” sentiment often pushed in pro-abortion circles has done an excellent job of sidelining men throughout the crisis. But when it comes to male demographics, there’s a clear cut between married and unmarried individuals.

In Ohio, for example, Pilon noted that a majority of married men voted against allowing abortion up until birth. But unmarried men overwhelmingly voted in favor of it. “This contrast displays a problematic truth: unmarried men tend to support abortion because it gives them an emergency escape from fatherhood,” Pilon wrote. Men Need To Be Held Accountable

“Men also have a stake in the life issue, because we all have a duty to fight evil regardless of sex. Ultimately, the pro-life position is simple: it’s a scientific fact that human life begins at conception, and every innocent human life made in God’s image deserves dignity and the full protection of the law,” Pilon wrote so eloquently we couldn’t help but quote him directly.
