Debate Moderators Team Up With Harris

Sep 11, 2024

ABC News stands accused of teaming up with Vice President Kamala Harris during Tuesday’s presidential debate, fact-checking former President Donald Trump seven times while never questioning the VP, Breitbart reports.

ABC News moderators David Muir and Lindsey Davis intervened at least seven times during the Tuesday presidential debate, every time aiding the Democrat’s by fact-checking Trump in real time. In one instance, Muir claimed Trump’s statements about illegal immigrants eating wild ducks in Ohio parks were false. Muir only noted one individual who claimed there were no reports of such activities, despite evidence of widespread reports of migrants taking over parks in Ohio and hunting wildlife.

Muir also claimed violent crime is coming down across the country. While in some instances this may be true, many violent crimes have also been rescheduled to lesser offenses. For example, Prop 57 in California allowed the release of many violent felons from prisons, many of whom were sentenced over sexual assaults and gun-related crimes. Harris Left Alone Despite Lies

When Harris brought up the false Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax, Muir did not intervene to clarify that her statements were incorrect. (LEARN MORE: State Finds County Violated Election Law In 2022)

Once again, Harris also seemed to change her stance on Afghanistan, claiming that she once again agrees with President Joe Biden’s decision to leave the nation. Just days ago, Harris said it was Trump’s fault that the withdrawal happened and refused to claim any responsibility for her role in the death of 13 service members.
