Meta, the company that brought us Facebook, and now monopolizes social media and other apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, and more, is censoring detransitioner Chloe Cole, but won’t stop pornography from reaching children who use the apps.

When Chloe Cole was 13 years old, she was put on puberty blockers. At 15 she was given a double mastectomy. A year later, she began her detransition process, making it her mission to warn the world about the abusive power held by medical institutions over America’s children. In September, Cole received a message on her Instagram account that read: “Your account and content won’t appear in places like Explore, Search, Suggested Users, Reels, and Feed Recommendations,” the Washington Stand reported. These Platforms Will Show Pornography To Children, Allegedly

A lawsuit filed in New Mexico detailed how investigators created a fake profile, designed to be that of a minor, on Facebook and Instagram. The profile was “exposed to nudity, pornographic videos, and sexually suggestive images of young girls,” according to the suit.

“Meta also offered the profile a professional account, which would enable her to make money. Meta would provide information on her audience, which was largely male and adult,” the investigation noted. Chris Gacek of Family Research Council noted how, if Meta wanted to, it would be easy to clean up this issue. But thus far, the site has not.
