One Party Is Registering More New Voters Than The Other

Republicans registered more new voters than Democrats in the important swing state of Pennsylvania in July.

The GOP managed to snag almost 20,000 new voters in Pennsylvania in July, while Democrats only managed to bring in roughly 17,495 new supporters in the state, according to the Daily Wire. The new figures mean that Republicans now outnumber Democrats in the state.

The GOP has — at time of writing — 94,603 new voters in the state, compared to just 87,325 for Democrats. With an estimated 10,000,000 or more voters in Pennsylvania, this is a serious bump for the party. “It’s a morale booster, it’s something we’ve been targeting for years,” Bucks County GOP Chair Pat Poprik said of the up-swing.

Democrats Still Leading Overall

“This is a crucial, cutting-edge development in our sophisticated ground game, which will help deliver President Trump back to the White House and save America,” RNC chairman Michael Whatley said of the Trump campaign’s push to embrace mail-in ballots and absentee voting the state. Trump also survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, which may have helped boost his support.
