2.7 Million Noncitizens May Vote In 2024: STUDY

A study released in May by Just Facts argued that up to 2.7 million illegal votes may be cast during the November 2024 elections.

Using old data from 2022, when roughly 19 million known noncitizens were living in the U.S., it was estimated that anywhere from two to five million of them were registered to vote. “These figures are potentially high enough to overturn the will of the American people in major elections, including congressional seats and the presidency,” Just Facts wrote in their analysis of a highly detailed study.

“In presidential elections, roughly half of non-citizens who are registered turn out to vote. Given that about 10% to 27% of them are currently registered, this means about 5% to 13% of them will illegally vote in the 2024 presidential and congressional elections,” the authors note. “The U.S. Census recorded a population of 19.7 million voting-age non-citizens in the U.S. during 2022. Millions Have Entered Since 2022

An estimated 10 million illegal immigrants have walked across America’s open borders since President Joe Biden took office in early 2021. Some states are fighting to secure their elections by passing election integrity and voter verification laws. For example, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed three major pieces of legislation in early May that will improve ballot security, voter verification, and auditing of the November 2024 presidential elections. When combined House Bill 974, House Bill 1207, and Senate Bill 189, aim to support Georgia citizens through the election with peace of mind over the efficacy of their vote.
